Mustard X Pocket Radar: See and Feel the Connection Between Mechanics and Performance

If you’re a pitcher, you’re probably chasing velocity. But you probably also want to learn how you can improve your delivery to increase that velocity, all while staying healthy. To that end, Mustard and Pocket Radar have joined forces. You can now see your Pocket Radar velocity data in the Mustard app, allowing you to seamlessly see and feel the connection between mechanics and performance. If you are subscribed to Pocket Radar Plus, your Mustard report card will now display the velocity of the pitch from which the report card was created.

Pocket Radar’s precision radar guns have become a staple in baseball development, trusted by coaches and athletes for accurate velocity data that helps monitor effort, manage arm health, and detect fatigue. Together, Mustard and Pocket Radar are closing the loop between biomechanics and measurable performance, giving every pitcher the tools to develop like a pro.

“This partnership brings together the best of both worlds: elite-level mechanical insight and immediate performance feedback,” says coach Tom House, co-founder of Mustard. “By combining our biomechanics expertise with Pocket Radar’s real-time velocity tracking, we’re empowering every athlete to make smarter adjustments, track progress, and protect their arms — all from their phone.”

Coach House sat down with Pocket Radar cofounder and CEO Steve Goody and Mustard head of baseball development Weston Lombard at the 2026 ABCA Convention in Columbus, OH to discuss the integration of Pocket Radar into the Mustard app and the connection between performance and mechanics.
